When coming up with this spot for Good Counsel - a private school founded on Xaverian values - the question was: how do we stand out from other private school admissions videos? One of the USPs of Good Counsel I learned about was how happy the kids were—and how sometimes kids in the area would push their parents to get enrolled in GC. I thought “what if we have the kids thank their parents for enrolling them?” With some great guidance from my ACD and CD, the concept was pitched, written and ultimately produced.

I’ve also written a lot of solicitation and admissions pieces for schools—mostly higher ed clients like Earlham, Swarthmore, and UPenn. Below is one for Good Council.
I thought since the Xaverian values were integral to the school’s culture, what if we told a few stories of the school through the lens of each Xaverian value.
I came up with the format, wrote the copy, and collaborated on design.
